We Just Turned 2 Today! Hip Hip Hooray!

Wow!  What a great 2 years it haz been, today is our 2 year anniversary of DiscoverMilton.com and doing business in Milton the last 2 years.  We’ve had the pleasure to really explore this great town, have met wonderful people and keep meeting new people in the community, take part in great events and attend great events. Milton is an amazing town, there are some out that that complain that Milton is this and that, well we have lived in various parts of Canada and as well traveled and lived in other countries, all we can say is we are blessed to be living in such a place with vibrant, young, talented people. You see it’s the people that make the charm here, the places and the friendly attitude, it’s what makes any place what it is – the people that live in a community who all believe where they are living is the best place.

We want to say Thank-you Milton, Thank-you to the people, to the business owners who work day in day out to serve us, Our Mayor Gordon Krantz, the many volunteers that help out such amazing events, the Milton Chamber of commerce who help business owners, The Downtown BIA who help local residents and Businesses with lots of initiatives and events, and to all those teachers that teach our kids education, to the firemen, police and ambulance drivers who protect us and to that person who does their part by picking up that piece of garbage to keep Milton Clean, to the local politicians making a difference, to the wonderful moms online and offline connecting other moms ( you know who are :) to our Twitter and Facebook Community to our neighbors and local restaurants that keep us full when we are too lazy to make dinner at home – Kudos to all of you  – we could go on all day and nigh, but you get the point.

Milton has a lot to offer, the beautiful escarpment, the trails, Kelso and Glen Eden to the many parks and scenic areas, it really is yours to discover.

Reebok CrossFit FirePower To Host Official Launch Party Tomorrow

Milton, ON. November 3, 2011 – Reebok CrossFit FirePower (RCFP), one of the Canada’s leading CrossFit facilities is hosting an official launch of the new partnership between Reebok CrossFit and FirePower Training. The launch party & member appreciation day is on Saturday November 5th between 10:00am and 4:00pm at Reebok CrossFit FirePower located at 509 Main St E, in Milton, ON.

The launch party will host CrossFit workouts throughout the day starting at 10:00am, including CrossFit kids at 11:00am, speeches at 12:00 noon and a group team challenge at 1pm.  The entire day and all workouts are open to the public and no experience is necessary!
