Have you donated to Haiti yet?
February 10th, 2010 by admin
World Vision is on the ground right now in the Haitian city of Port-Au-Prince, helping families and children devastated by the 7.0-magnitude earthquake. Your donations are vital to the relief efforts and are needed today.
Every dollar makes a difference and now if you give a donation to the Haiti Earthquake victims through World Vision, by February 12th, it will double in impact due to a generous contribution from the Canadian Government.
With an international response team flying in from around the globe to assist, our relief efforts are underway. World Vision Haiti is now distributing emergency supplies to families and children struggling to deal with this catastrophic disaster.
World Vision has been working in Haiti for over 30 years, helping an estimate 300,000 Haitians each year to overcome poverty through providing access to education, improved access to food and clean water and improved nutrition as well as helping families with improved medical care. Now, more than ever, your help is needed to help families in Haiti and let them know they are not alone in this emergency.
Emergency kits help provide things like tarps, blankets, soap, towels, personal hygiene items and cooking utensils at $55 per family. Please note these costs are estimates due to the urgency of the situation, and may vary.

have you donated to Haiti yet?
I was reading an article, which was an eye opener
http://www.smartmoney.com/spending/budgeting/why-havent-you-donated-anything-to-haiti-yet/
as well I have been watching other web polls and so far 45% of Canadians have donated – which is awesome so far and the other 55 % have not
wanted to see what kind of results we had on Discover Milton no right or wrong answers people just an open poll and if need to an open discussions as to why you have
not donated,
Please leave comments at the bottom of this post
it would be nice if everyone that had over 10 million dollars in cash could donate at least $100,000 , i mean would they really miss it…its only 1 % of their total net-worth ,
Over the weekend my family decided we will donate to different charities set up , as long as they don’t have admin fees – the main reason for us – was more to save the children as I think this is horrific -i just kept looking at my own little guy and the pain was terrifying to see what Haiti’s Children are going against , I just hope they get the aid they need and fast – just think our own children when giving from your hearts
I believe this is a test from above..and more to come if all humans can’t pull together – so I dub this F*CK WAR…HELP HAITI…SAVE THE CHILDREN mission – I 100 % support our troops only not the war – as I believe they are fighting the wrong war, they all need to shift to stop fighting and helping Haiti and save the children, look at money spent so far with the bloody war and more lives have been lost as a cause
..the war is created for the power of OIL , Money and greed..
let’s do what we can .. $5.00 goes along way…and even $1.00 does as well when you put them in numbers
just think if 45 % of the world gave even 1 dollar each that would be approx 2.7 billion dollars, they can use this not only to feed but to rebuild a new future
Please give what you can …
here is a great link fast and easy way to donate to Haiti
